Overview of Terrequity Children’s Foundation
Terrequity Children’s Foundation (TCF) was established in 2008 to provide care and support for children in need from all over the GTA and surrounding areas. TCF is a charitable foundation registered under the guidelines of CRA, whose sole purpose and vision is to raise funds and distribute these funds to inspire hope, enrich lives, and build better futures for children in need. Since its inception, TCF has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through the generous contribution of Royal LePage Terrequity agents and their supporters and various campaigns to help underprivileged children.
The TCF Scope
Nothing is more important in Canadian society than the health and welfare of our children. Children represent our future. There is significant evidence that with minimal investments in their health and welfare for child, can pay unparalleled dividends over many decades in terms of health, social and economic outcomes.
The Terrequity Children’s Foundation aims to improve the quality of life of all children, up to the age of 18. Most of what is raised is spent locally, with a small percentage designated for charitable organizations outside of Canada.
TCF Management Team
The Terrequity Children’s Foundation is managed by an active volunteer Board of Directors. The Board of Directors are responsible for approving all Funding Requests Applications which have been submitted and ensure these funds are invested in areas that would generate the greatest benefit to the children as set out in the investment policy for TCF. Royal LePage Terrequity provides all personnel and administrative costs for TCF at no cost as part of its corporate commitment, with the exception of corporate tax filings and any printed promotional materials.
TCF is grateful for the support of the Royal LePage Terrequity representatives, staff, volunteers and individuals who further our mission. For more information please call 416-790-4149 or e-mail tcfdonations@terrequity.com.
